Starbucks Copy-Cat Vanilla Chai Tea
Dear Reader,
It's September now and as the season gets a little bit colder, I usually have a big craving for my tea. Like any other north american pre-teen, I love Starbucks, specifically their Vanilla Chai tea. So to sum it all up, yes Me+Starbucks Tea=Happy! But here's the problem, this lovely tea is outside my preferred price range, like way out of it.
So, I tried almost everything, like finding the tea bags online, but yet again PROBLEM! They didn't sell tea bags, but a syrup. I was honestly supper confused when read this. The syrup was also super expensive, so I went to my plan B. My plan B was to search a recipe online, which also failed to the death of my hopes. So as you would guess, i was pretty bummed out by the end of the day. I decided to have just have plain old chai tea. So I reached into the cupboard to find it when I saw our Costco sized bottle of vanilla extract. And that's how it hit me. I could make it myself. I just needed the right proportions, and that what I did.
If you do chose to make this copy-cat recipe, share it! Post it online and add the link to this website. Or leave a comment down below. Don't forget that I value your opinion. Enjoy!
